I am the Lord and I change not . . ." ~ Malachi 3:6
Long ago God had prophets, men chosen and
called by Him to speak for him to the entire
world.  They were His representatives to his
Children whom he loved.  Moses, Abraham,
Noah, and John the Baptist were just a few,
whom we read about in the Bible.  There were
also prophets in other lands, such as Nephi,
Lehi, Abinnadi, and others whose records we
read about in the Book of Mormon; Another
Testament of Jesus Christ.  God told his will
to his children through these special servants of
                                         the Lord.

                                                    But Wait!!!

God STILL loves His Children, doesn't He?  In the Bible it says that He is unchangeable.   " . . . I am the Lord and I change not . . ." ~ Malachi 3:6   . . .. SO doesn't that mean that He would still have prophets?

We believe that he DOES.

The following verse is in the Book of Mormon; Another Testament of Jesus Christ on page 486 . . .

"And if there were miracles wrought then, why has God ceased to be a God of miracles and yet be an unchangeable Being? And behold, I say unto you he changeth not; if so he would cease to be God; and he ceaseth not to be God, and is a God of miracles." ~ Mormon 9:19
